Song Analysis

The song I have chosen to analyze is by the rose hip hop artist Kendrick Lamar and is titled fluent Pools (Drank). I chose this song because, in my opinion, it is iodin of the best songs lately and is tranquil by arguably the best rapper of this generation. It is totally round the different angles of alcoholism; from temptation to sickness, and even touches on addiction. The underwrite itself is produced by a popular engineer T-Minus, and is tangled genuinely well. After listening to the song over 50 generation in the past week I cannot be to fancy even one blunder or laboured I would change. The instruments used in the track consist of the accustomed hip hop sounds: bass, snare, hi-hat etc. Where the track really shines though, is in the complexness and variations through kayoed the verses. The engineer used different personal effects to throw Kendrick as different roles throughout the song.

At one point, Kendrick is rapping to himself as his conscience, in a high/faded out frame telling himself to slow down on the imbibition because he is nauseous. Then it immediately cuts back to Kendricks usual sound, and he continues flowing and changes subjects onto a girl who is very tempted by his vodka bottle. I also like this song because it applies a fair impertinently idea in todays knock world, which is development two completely different hooks. This gives the track such a nice flow and makes the listener stay focus because it isnt as monotonous as a plug of other(a) songs in the same genre. If you want to get a well(p) essay, coiffe it on our website: OrderEssay.net
